- Why are pigment based inks used?
- a: to ensure longevity. Epson Ultrachrome and K3 inks are
regarded as "archival"
with light fastness ratings of between 80 and 200 years depending on which
papers are used. We use only Espson professional grade photographic papers. - What's included with orders?
- a: shipping box, framed print, hanging wire (already installed) & hook with nail
- Why is styrene used instead of glass?
- a: better insulator, less likely to fog, shatter-proof, much lighter
- Why are your prices so low?
- a: Very simple; we are the artists. We own the copyright to all of our products.
We Print and frame in-house. There are no middle-men. Your buying directly and saving big. - Is there a choice of frame wood color?
- NO; The frame colors we use will blend with all but the
most
unusual decors and are chosen for their compatibility with the print - Do I need to get custom framing if I buy the "without frame" version?
- Absolutely not. Our unframed versions are matted and ready to frame in any standard
18x24" frame. Remember that frame size is always quoted as the inside diameter.
The overall size depends on the width of the wood moulding. - How long before I receive my order?
- a: orders received before 16:00 MST will be boxed and ready
for
shipment with 3 business days. UPS ground will take between
3 to 5 business days - Are all materials including mats, backing board and adhesives acid-free?
- Yes.
- It's hard to get a sense of how large these products are. Is there a reference for frame size?
- Frame size is described as an "inside" dimension or roughly the
width and length of the glass area; an 18x24"
